Welcome to Washington and Lee University’s Engineers Without Borders!
W&L EWB’s mission is to engage students of all majors and interests in a collaborative effort to enhance the living conditions of our partner communities worldwide.
Through our efforts, students learn about poverty stricken areas, working creatively as a team to design and implement sustainable engineering solutions to improve the basic standard of living for communities throughout the world.
We currently work on water purification and sanitation projects in Pampoyo, Bolivia; Mbale, Uganda; and San Pedro, Guatemala in partnership with the EWB club at VMI. Please read on to find out about what projects we’re involved in and how you can join our efforts.
